John Bosco had the authentic heart of a Catholic educator. He must have appeared to many of the people of his day as an anomaly. In an era of ‘children shall be seen and not heard’ he changed an entire paradigm by seeing children as the ones to be served.

What incredible words, “Let us be ashamed to assume an attitude of superiority.”

What is your experience of serving young people? What have been some high points for you? Can you share your thoughts on this quote from John Bosco or perhaps your own experience in the comments box at the bottom of this page?
